Lycia, the country of light, offers you much more than just the beautiful sea. There is so much to discover, there are markets, concerts, walking and sightseeing tours to many interesting ancient cities... fourteen days are not sufficient to cover it all.

Kekova – Myra – St. Nicolas Church
Our trip will take us on the wonderful route along the coast to Demre and then along fertile land to Ücagiz. The boat trip to Kekova and Simena starts from there. We will climb up to the castle of Simena and visit the smallest Lycian theatre. You will see the thousand year old olive trees and 2000 year old sarcophagi.

On our way back we see the unique carved rock tombs of Myra, the theatre and the famous St. Nicolas Church.

Termessos – Antalya (old Town) – Museum of Antalya
Termessos is the most charming of all the ancient cities around. We will take the King`s Road which windes up the mountain to the thousand meter high ancient town which was built between two summits like the nest of an eagle.

The Roman theatre is impressive by its unique view. You can admire magnificent huge buildings and very big cisterns.

You will be fascinated by the restored Osmanian style houses and the harbour of Antalya`s old town. Towards the end of your trip you will visit the museum of Antalya with its remarkable collection of artifacts.

Arikanda and Limyra
Arikanda is an ancient city built on a steep slope. It was destroyed by earthquakes and plundered several times, but always built up again. The location is beautiful, you will have a marvellous view down to the fertile plain of Finike.

Occasionally, classic concerts take place in the theatre. The big bath, the gymnasium and the cemetery out of different eras are very impressive. Afterwards we will see the rock tombs, the theatre and the magnificent buildings of Limyra.
